My name is Hayley Jackson and I live in Lindfield, West Sussex. I am a certified personal trainer and mobility specialist, training clients for the last 7 years, from my private gym.
I have two young children and a crazy dog whom keep me well and truly on my toes, so the importance of being fit and healthy is of the upmost to me. I changed to a plant-based diet 5 years ago for ethical and health reasons, with noticeable benefits, including gut health and energy levels. I want to make sure I am the healthiest, and strongest mum I can be for my children. But also want to give my clients as much help and advice about nutrition and gut health as possible along their journey with me.

Strength and mobility training

I have always enjoyed running, boxing, mobility, Animal Flow and weight training, and I competed in my first sprint triathlon in 2022 after learning how to swim properly, so now have a new found love for swimming and cycling. I like to keep my own workouts varied with a main focus of moving well and having control and strength in my joints.
The majority of my sessions involve joint-specific strength and mobility training, utilising methods (backed by scientific research) from the functional range conditioning principles. I work with clients, making sure they train safely within their bodies capabilities; helping them to move better, without pain, and feel stronger and fitter.

HMJ Fitness is about empowering women to embrace their bodies; by changing their mindset and behaviour and how they look at themselves. I want to show them that it’s not just exercise; it’s training towards a goal and that goal could be anything. Let me help you find your ‘WHY’.
I want to help women to understand that our bodies are able to adapt and gain strength without bulking up, which is a common female misconception. I want to teach them that it is incredibly beneficial as it helps build lean mass, makes us stronger and of course it helps us to achieve that lean figure we’ve always wanted. I want to change women’s perception of their bodies and give them the confidence they deserve.

Giving you confidence

As women, our confidence is constantly being challenged on a daily basis. It’s not just about how we look or how we should look but we are constantly looking outside of ourselves to measure our worth.
I am a mother to two young children, so I know the struggles of juggling exercise around a busy family life. Allow me to show you that it is possible to train without spending hours in the gym.
